Kate Hudson Dazzles in Bold Gown at Documentary Premiere

Kate Hudson made quite the impression on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Martin Short’s Netflix documentary, “Marty, Life is Short.” The 47-year-old actress opted for a striking yellow gown that had some risk of wardrobe mishaps.

The sleeveless, floor-length column gown, designed by Todd, featured dramatic cutouts along the sides. These elements allowed glimpses of her toned abs and back, and even a hint of sideboob when seen from certain angles.

She shared images from the event on her blog and captioned it, “What a documentary! Celebrating the one and only Marty Short 🧡.”

Fans quickly praised Hudson’s look, with comments like, “Kate Hudson, you’re always the best dressed ❤️.” Another remarked, “The list of beautiful and amazingly gorgeous talents is endless ❤️.” A third user noted the gown’s nostalgic vibe, mentioning her well-known character from “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.”

Currently, Hudson is also in Season 2 of Netflix’s “Running Points,” portraying Ira Gordon, the president of a fictional basketball team in Los Angeles. In a previous interview, she spoke about her character’s passionate drive, stating, “When you’re passionate about something, you want to roll up your sleeves and get it done, and do it right.”

Hudson elaborated that while she identifies with her character’s ambition, she doesn’t see herself as overly competitive. “I love art and I want to tell good stories. If I get that opportunity, it could be great,” she added, highlighting her desire to focus on meaningful projects rather than chasing status.

Raised in a prominent Hollywood family by actress Goldie Hawn and actor Kurt Russell, Hudson has three children. She’s expressed hopes for them to pursue a life filled with purpose, rather than merely seeking fame. “For me, the most important thing for kids is that they feel grounded,” she shared, emphasizing why understanding one’s values is crucial.
