Jet Speed Shines at AEW Dynamite
The dynamic duo known as Jet Speed had quite the memorable evening at All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Dynamite this past Wednesday.
“Speedball” Mike Bailey dominated Westbrook effortlessly, marking his third win in as many matches within AEW. Meanwhile, Kevin Knight proudly defended his TNT Championship against the returning Brian Cage.
Knight also showed his support for Bailey, who has set his sights on the AEW World Championship. The current champion, Darby Allin, is preparing to face off against Konosuke Takeshita and has a notable hair vs. title match coming up against Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF).
In a recent conversation, Knight had nothing but praise for his tag partner. He referred to Bailey as a “wrestling savant,” adding, “He’s been wrestling almost longer than I’ve been alive. He’s experienced all possible situations and always seems to know just how to engage the crowd.”
Knight further elaborated on Bailey’s wisdom, sharing, “The key is not to overthink. Just do what you have to do. It sounds easy, but that’s the essence of his advice. You manage to go out there and do your job, and in the end, everyone’s satisfied.”
Both wrestlers have truly made a mark since joining AEW, with tangible successes. They’ve held two-thirds of the AEW Trios Championship on two occasions and have even claimed victory with notable figures like “Hangman” Adam Page and legendary Lucha Libre star Místico.
The possibilities seem limitless for both Knight and Bailey as they pursue further achievements in singles competition.
