Popular free streaming service Tubi has launched its 2026 FIFA World Cup FOX hub, just in time for the highly anticipated event. This new hub is set to become the primary destination for fans seeking FOX Sports FIFA programming, offering both original and exclusive Tubi content related to the games and players.
Under the ownership of Fox Corporation, Tubi will provide live 4K coverage of the World Cup’s Opening Ceremony along with two key matches: Mexico facing South Africa on June 11, and the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) taking on Paraguay the following day.
Deirdre Hesseldyk, Tubi’s senior vice president of products, highlighted the World Cup’s long-standing goal of uniting people through sport, noting that technology today helps extend this mission. “The FIFA World Cup™ FOX Hub aims to deliver a seamless fan experience,” she commented, allowing easy navigation from live events to highlights, commentary, interviews, and expert insights.
The hub features a continuous feed showcasing FOX Sports’ live digital programming alongside daily highlights. Samuel Harowitz, Tubi’s SVP of Content Acquisition and Partnerships, remarked that the World Cup goes beyond just the game, involving everything from players to teams, thus delivering an enhanced experience for fans.
As part of this content, Tubi is set to roll out original series such as “Destination World Cup 2026,” which will track players like Weston McKennie, Marc Cucurella, and Harry Wilson as they prepare for the tournament. There’s also “The Other Football,” a comedic Vodcast featuring FOX Sports personalities Rob Gronkowski and Jameis Winston.
The hub will bring a mix of entertainment and analysis, including programming like BBC’s “Twenty Twenty Six,” which presents a comedic look at an international soccer competition, and “Summer of ’94,” focusing on the USMNT’s underdog story from 1994. Additionally, “Alexi Lalas State of the Union,” hosted by former USMNT player Alexi Lalas, will provide expert analysis throughout the event.
For fans eager for interactive content, Tubi will feature creators from YouTube, including Donald De La Haye, known as Destroying, who will host a competitive series titled “Destroying the Pitch.” Other engaging shows will include “Jesser’s Ultimate Kickoff,” led by Jesse “Jesser” Riedel, and discussions with football legends on “How to Win a World Cup,” hosted by comedian Matt Ford.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup FOX Hub is completely free, requiring no subscription and accessible until the tournament concludes. Available on various platforms, Tubi is known for offering a wide variety of free movies, TV shows, and original content, attracting over 100 million monthly users.
