2026 ACC baseball tournament: Schedule, results, bracket, and additional information

With the selection event set for next Monday, there’s just one final task before the announcement of the 64-team field.

The Patriot League tournament kicks off on Monday, while most other conference tournaments, notably the ACC Tournament, begin on Tuesday. The ACC is likely to have a substantial representation, with projections suggesting around nine teams could make it. However, some of these teams will really need to push hard in Charlotte this week to boost their chances. Clemson, Pittsburgh, and NC State are particularly on the bubble as the week starts.

Format of the ACC Baseball Tournament

Every baseball team in the ACC, with the exception of Syracuse and SMU, qualifies for the tournament.

The four top-performing teams—Georgia Tech, UNC, Florida State, and Boston College—secure seeds No. 1 through 4 and earn byes into the quarterfinals starting Thursday. The subsequent four teams, which include Miami, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, and Virginia, will receive seeds No. 5 through 8 and also progress directly to the second round.

The remaining eight teams will have to compete in the first round.

All matches are single elimination, leading to the ACC Championship Game on Sunday.
