UFO Expert Jeremy Corbell on Drones as Congress Demands Answers
Jeremy Corbell, an investigative journalist and co-host of the podcast “WEAPONIZED,” recently discussed government secrets surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) with Peter Doocy. Corbell emphasized declassified footage, particularly one captured in 2021 over Syria, which showcases advanced aircraft with extraordinary speeds and maneuvers. He pointed out that both former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump have provided vague comments on the matter, and he mentioned that Congress is now pressing for the release of 46 UAP videos.
A new documentary titled “Sleeping Dogs” has just emerged, spotlighting Corbell’s long-standing efforts in the UFO exposure movement. Directed by Michael Lazofsky, the film highlights Corbell’s commitment to advocating for transparency regarding UAPs.
Corbell has played a crucial role in the Freedom of Information movement, where he supports UAP whistleblowers and promotes Congressional hearings to shed light on these phenomena. He candidly stated, “There are machines and aircraft of unknown origin that fly through our restricted airspace with impunity. Our government has recognized this as a national security threat for decades.” He also remarked on the recent shift in public perception, saying that now, people understand that UAPs are indeed real.
Filmed secretly over several years, “Sleeping Dogs” includes unseen footage from Corbell’s investigations and features interviews with notable figures in the field, such as astronauts Edgar Mitchell and George Knapp. Josh Golembeske, a senior director of production, noted that Corbell revealed various videos that became part of the War Department’s UAP file releases. Corbell has spent more than a decade compiling classified information about UAPs, even as skepticism persisted in public and governmental spheres.
The impact of Corbell’s work has been significant, as experts now recognize a growing validity in UAP documentation. “There is overwhelming evidence that we are being visited,” Golembeske commented. He added, “We have all this information, but it’s crucial that it finally comes to light.”
This film coincides with the aftermath of President Trump’s call for federal transparency surrounding UAPs and a recent release of declassified documents by the Department of the Army. Golembeske emphasized that it took considerable public pressure and a push from behind the scenes to arrive at this moment. “Now this administration appears more open to the topic,” he noted.
Golembeske believes that the current approach to controlled disclosures by authorities is essential for educating the public about UAP discoveries. He mentioned that the process feels like a gradual reveal, saying, “It’s more like a compassionate reveal.” He acknowledged that some information can be shocking, so approaching it carefully makes sense.
However, he raised concerns that authorities might spin the narrative around UAPs to instill fear rather than hope. He said, “I like the current progress, but I worry about fear-driven messaging versus hopeful messaging.” He aims to empower consciousness evolution and believes that all evidence suggests there’s little to fear.
With the resurgence of interest in UAPs, bolstered by documentaries like “Sleeping Dogs,” Golembeske remains hopeful that UFO stories will gain more traction in national discussions. “Five years ago, I wouldn’t have said this, but it feels like something is imminent,” he remarked. “We’re approaching a pivotal moment, but the discussion can’t be undone.”
Fox News Digital has attempted to reach out to Corbell and the film’s distributor for comments.
