FBI taking charge of UAP information release while other agencies hold back, filmmaker claims

FBI Takes Lead in Investigating UAPs

Dan Farrar, a documentary filmmaker, recently stated that the FBI is spearheading the federal initiative to delve into unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). Appearing on “Jesse Watters Prime Time,” he noted that although former President Trump is advocating for the declassification of related information, certain government bodies and military personnel are seemingly obstructing the process.

Farrar expressed, “In recent months, one federal agency has emerged that’s approaching this matter with seriousness, actively seeking the truth, and collaborating closely with the White House: the FBI.” He believes that as the agency ramps up its focus on this topic, it will lead to significant revelations and disclosures.

Interestingly, there’s been rare bipartisan praise for President Trump’s decision to release UFO documents. Farrar elaborated on Trump’s directive from February, which tasked federal agencies with identifying and declassifying evidence about UAPs and non-human life forms. He suggested that in the period following this announcement, some agencies and military branches either refused to engage or claimed ignorance about relevant evidence.

He further highlighted that historically, some bureaucrats have opted to “wait out” elected officials, but now an internal struggle seems to be unfolding, with the FBI aggressively seeking answers.

Farrar’s documentary, “The Age of Disclosure,” includes interviews with intelligence personnel and officials discussing UFOs and the long-standing cover-up of information. It features key figures, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has raised alarms about unidentified objects appearing over nuclear sites.

Rubio pointed out in the documentary, “There have been numerous occasions where something has appeared above a restricted nuclear facility that is not ours, and we aren’t exactly sure who it belongs to. That statement should definitely be investigated.”

Echoing Rubio, Farrar emphasized that the uncertainty surrounding these UAPs—especially over sensitive areas—poses a national security risk. “Whoever is operating these UAPs is important. As Rubio noted, they are not ours and are presumably not a threat from an adversary. Yet, we still have no clarity on who controls them or their intentions,” he remarked.

In a recent move, the Trump administration released several files concerning UAPs, part of an initiative to enhance transparency. Among the documents were details from the Apollo 12 and 17 missions, which featured images of unusual objects captured during the flights.

Earlier in February, Trump announced his plans to direct relevant government agencies to start disclosing data about unmanned aircraft and extraterrestrial life. He shared on social media, “Given the immense interest, I will instruct the Secretary of the Army and other pertinent departments to commence the identification and release of government files tied to aliens, UAPs, and related complex yet vital issues. God Bless America!”
