Waka Flocka Flame Supports Trump

Waka Flocka Flame, a well-known rapper, has recently shown his support for President Trump, making headlines among his fans. For many millennials who vibed to “No Hands” during the 2010s, Waka Flocka is regarded as a rap icon.

In a candid appearance on OutKick’s “Tomi Lahren is Fearless,” Waka discussed various topics, including the challenges artists face when they voice conservative opinions. Lahren highlighted Nicki Minaj’s experience, noting how she faced backlash after showing support for Trump, primarily linked to her efforts to help Christians in Nigeria.

Lahren pointed out that Minaj’s influence is significant in the rap industry, especially among female artists. Waka expressed his own views about Trump, stating, “I support him 100 percent over Kamala Harris. Why? Because, in my opinion, he’s better.” He made an analogy between basketball stars Kobe Bryant and LeBron James to illustrate his point, while also clarifying that support doesn’t mean he agrees with everything Trump does.

When questioned about his voting history, Waka revealed, “I’ve never voted in my life.” He explained that for many people in his community, voting feels irrelevant, emphasizing, “Where I come from, we call it the hood, the trenches. Voting doesn’t matter to people like us.” However, he noted that he respects Trump’s business acumen, admitting, “The only thing I learned from Trump was how to delegate your capital and how to build a business.”

Lahren also probed Waka about his prior support for Kamala Harris, to which he swiftly responded, “No way.” Furthermore, Waka shared his personal journey, discussing the upcoming arrival of his first biological son and the responsibilities that accompany fatherhood. He acknowledged the weight of this life change, stating, “Nothing is real to me until it’s real,” and remains focused on taking things one day at a time.
