Fetterman promises to trade his hoodie for a suit if Graham Platner shows he didn’t send inappropriate photos to minors.

Fetterman’s Suit Challenge to Platner

Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania has made a bold promise: he’ll wear a suit “every day” if Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner can prove he hasn’t sent explicit photos to minors.

This unusual challenge was presented during Fetterman’s interview on Fox News on Saturday. He referred to Platner, who acknowledged having an active Kik account during his early marriage, as “P-Hustle,” which is Platner’s username. The response from interviewer Kayleigh McEnany was one of disbelief.

“Hustle, this is your chance. Just show that everyone you’ve been sharing inappropriate images with is over 18,” Fetterman declared, positioning himself as Platner’s staunchest critic in Congress.

Fetterman, known for his signature black hoodie and often wearing shorts in the Senate, remarked, “I will wear a suit daily if you can clear this up.”

He assured that he could clarify things by sharing all texts and discussions from when he was newly married, emphasizing the need for “transparency” as there’s an ongoing investigation regarding the platform potentially hosting underage users.

Democrats are feeling the pressure after a New York Times report revealed Platner’s admission to sexting a woman shortly after his marriage. He further accused his ex-girlfriend, Lindsey Fifield, of misconduct during a disagreement, claiming she twisted her arm and confined her in a bedroom.

While Platner denies the allegations and has not been charged with any wrongdoing involving minors, his campaign was unresponsive when approached for comment by The Post.

When McEnany brought up Fetterman’s earlier remarks about Fox News host Sean Hannity, Fetterman softened his initial comments but reiterated his challenge to Platner.

“This guy criticized my clothing choices, yet he had no issue with me appearing in a towel on a sketchy site plagued by serious problems,” he pointed out, urging Platner to go public if he has “nothing to hide.”
