ICE Arrests Criminal Aliens in Nationwide Operation

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has apprehended multiple illegal immigrants this week, many of whom have prior convictions for sex and drug offenses, as reported by a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) press release.

This operation forms part of a broader effort to eliminate “criminal alien pedophiles, sexual deviants, drug traffickers, and other violent offenders” from American communities.

“We will continue to remove violent criminals from our country to ensure America is safe again,” stated Lauren Biss, who is currently the acting assistant secretary at DHS.

Biss emphasized, “It’s common sense: Americans don’t want criminals living in their neighborhoods.”

Among those arrested is Eber de Leon-Grola, an illegal alien from Mexico, who had been convicted of child molestation and aggravated kidnapping in Hidalgo County, Texas.

Another detainee is Zahia Eymadelddin Musa Ali, a Sudanese illegal immigrant held in ICE custody after being convicted in Sacramento, California, for violent sexual penetration, multiple counts of spousal assault, possession of illegal tools, false imprisonment, and interfering with law enforcement.

ICE also detained Juan Fernando Guarnis Manrique, a Peruvian illegal alien, who had a conviction for third-degree sexual assault and second-degree assault with intent to injure using drugs or substances in New Britain, Connecticut.

Fernando Morales, another illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested by ICE agents for a felony charge related to manufacturing and distributing a controlled substance in Kansas City, Kansas.

Also on the list is Sergio Herrera Guzman, a Mexican illegal immigrant, convicted of making terroristic threats in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Biss reiterated, “Under Secretary Markwayne Marin and President Trump, we will not relent in our efforts to rid the country of violent criminals.”

DHS encourages the public to visit the DHS website to see more information about criminal illegal aliens that have been removed from communities.
