Brandi Glanville, former star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has been candid about her recent health challenges. At 53, she’s been dealing with persistent facial swelling, lumps, and even some paralysis since 2023.

Initially, she suspected that a trip to Morocco might have led to her issues, attributing some of her symptoms to a parasite she believed she contracted there. For some time, she felt it moving in her face—an unsettling thought, to say the least.

Glanville’s doctors first diagnosed her with stress-induced angioedema, which refers to sudden swelling in the deeper layers of the skin. This condition, according to the Cleveland Clinic, can either appear with hives or on its own and is explained similarly by the Mayo Clinic.

In a recent episode of her podcast, “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered,” she disclosed that a “benign tumor” was found in one of her facial lymph nodes. This revelation was, perhaps, a significant development, as she had previously speculated that parasites might be contributing to her facial symptoms. After years of experiencing lumps on her face, it was a moment mixed with relief and concern.

In her discussion, Glanville expressed the frustration of feeling like she was sinking after initially believing she had turned a corner. “You think you’re fine, and then it resurfaces,” she shared, indicating the ongoing struggle that comes with uncertainty about her health. The fluid that accumulated in her face might explain some of her difficulties, she implied.

While benign tumors can arise from various tissues, the specific diagnosis related to Glanville’s condition hasn’t been detailed publicly. Despite the nature of the tumor being non-cancerous, she noted the significant financial burden of her health journey, spending upwards of $100,000 and consulting numerous doctors before reaching this point.

“I haven’t had a facelift yet!” she remarked humorously, perhaps a light-hearted dig at speculation surrounding her appearance.

Additionally, Glanville mentioned that she believes silicone leaks from her breast implants may have clogged her lymph nodes, hinting at another layer of complexity to her health issues.
