Prosecutor Unexpectedly Rules in Bailey Zimmerman Hotel Damage Case

Charges Dropped Against Country Music Star Bailey Zimmerman

The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office has dismissed the charges against country music artist Bailey Zimmerman shortly after an arrest warrant was issued. Zimmerman had faced accusations related to damages worth $16,000 to a hotel room at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque back in May.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the case was dropped because full restitution was made. A spokesperson for Zimmerman mentioned that he accepted responsibility for his actions, expressing gratitude towards Sandia Pueblo and the District Attorney’s Office for their quick resolution.

Zimmerman was reported to have been disorderly prior to a performance on May 27, with allegations of charging around $400 for alcohol to the room without payment. After attempts to resolve the issue failed, an arrest warrant was issued on June 18. Consequently, he canceled his show that evening.

In a statement to Sandia Pueblo and his fans, Zimmerman expressed a desire to address the events surrounding the canceled performance and the subsequent media coverage. He apologized to everyone at Sandia Pueblo and the resort, clarifying that he never intended to show disrespect.

He stated that he takes full responsibility for the situation and is sorry for any hurt or disrespect caused. Additionally, he mentioned his commitment to dealing with the legal matter seriously and to learning from this experience. Despite the incident, Zimmerman continues to tour as part of the “Different Night Same Rodeo Tour.”
