Viral Meeting Between UK Content Creator and Trump
A video featuring British content creator Oliver Henry meeting President Donald Trump during his U.S. visit has gained a lot of traction on social media.
Henry was invited to Dallas to watch the England-Croatia match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He documented his first trip to the U.S., which caught the president’s attention. Trump then invited him to the Great American State Fair, where they took photos and shook hands.
Henry shared his experience with a post saying, “Now I understand the American dream.” He reflected on the trip, explaining he had received last-minute tickets, leading him to share his adventure online. The video quickly went viral, even reaching the President directly.
Henry recounted being invited backstage to meet Trump during a speech, saying, “Things like this can only happen in America.” He expressed that, as a British person, he never truly grasped what it meant to call America the “land of opportunity,” but he felt the evidence was apparent.
Earlier, Henry had also caught Trump’s eye with a video in which he apologized, stating, “America is not the country that the media makes it out to be.” He praised the friendliness and helpfulness he experienced during his visit.
In another post, he mentioned, “Texas, what a wonderful place. I came to Dallas for the World Cup and ended up leaving a piece of my heart behind. I’ll be back someday.”
Meanwhile, German soccer fan Freddie shared his own experiences in the U.S. and received significant attention online, drawing compliments from Nick Adams, a Special Envoy for U.S. Tourism.
