Clint Frazier hints at an important Yankees meeting with controversial Emmanuel Acho in 2020

Clint Frazier, a former Yankees outfielder, has recently commented on WNBA star Emmanuel Acho’s contentious opinions, which have drawn significant attention.

In his post, Frazier reflected, “It’s not surprising at all… back in 2020, our entire Yankees team was informed about a mandatory meeting that was facilitated by him.” He added, “I probably should have paid more attention to what he shared with us.”

His post has garnered over 2.6 million views, prompting numerous requests for clarification, including one from former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Frazier explained that the meeting took place via Zoom.

He responded to another user on X, saying, “Friend, I had a meeting 🤣🤣🤣. It wasn’t a presentation, haha—were you at the meeting?”

This conversation followed Acho’s assertion that the WNBA would be better off without Caitlin Clark. Acho stated, “Caitlin got the attention she needed, but we don’t necessarily need her now that the eyes are there.”

Recently, Clark has been back in the headlines after an incident where Phoenix Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas punched her in the throat during a play for the ball. Thomas received a suspension afterward, but the lack of a foul call during the game raised concerns about Clark’s protection on the court.

“It was terrible. The fact that it was a no-call… I had to address it,” said Fever coach Stephanie White after the game. “We came here knowing what happened two nights ago, and that’s still occurring? Absolutely unacceptable.”

Frazier played for the Yankees from 2017 to 2021 before moving on to the Cubs and White Sox. During the 2020 season, the Yankees ended with a record of 33 wins and 27 losses, securing second place in the American League East.

Since his departure from the Yankees, Frazier has been open about his criticisms of the team.
