Savannah Guthrie recently made a heartfelt plea for information regarding her mother, Nancy, who is missing. The family remains in distress as they grapple with ongoing uncertainty, especially after federal officials confirmed a second ransom note, which ominously suggested that Nancy might be dead and “buried with nature.” Guthrie is urging anyone with knowledge about the situation to come forward, even anonymously.

In a separate investigation, law enforcement discovered the body of a young mother, Jordan Wishon, in a home in North Carolina. Wishon was reported missing by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office on Friday. Just two days later, authorities shifted their focus to homicide after uncovering disturbing evidence while executing a search warrant.

The sheriff’s office shared on social media that investigators performed a search at a residence on Pebblestone Lane in Rutherfordton around 5:17 a.m. During this operation, human remains were discovered buried on the property, later confirmed to be those of Jordan Wishon.

In the weeks leading up to her disappearance, Wishon’s friend revealed that the man charged with her murder, Jadakiss Kashawn Hamilton, had expressed fear for his own safety. Hamilton, 25, has a criminal history and is currently charged with first-degree murder. It appears he was already incarcerated on unrelated charges prior to this case.

Reports indicate Hamilton was in jail for vehicle theft and has previous charges including reckless driving and resisting arrest. It seems his legal troubles are extensive.

Jordan Wishon, only 30, leaves behind a child and a fiancé, according to her obituary. Her family is devastated. Her sister, Cassandra Toney, shared her grief on social media, expressing a deep sense of loss and a desire for justice, though she acknowledged the difficulty ahead.
