Idaho Mother Charged with Murder of Twins After Vaccine Claims

An Idaho mother, Andrea Shaw, has been charged with the murders of her twin children, more than a year after she claimed their deaths were due to “vaccine injuries.” The 23-year-old was indicted on two counts of first-degree murder by a grand jury following the deaths of her 18-month-old twins, Dallas and Tyson, in May 2025.

The investigation into the children’s deaths began when they were found dead in a bed at Northgate Mobile Park. Just days later, Andrea appeared on a podcast where she and her husband, Nathaniel, asserted that the vaccine was responsible for their tragic deaths. They claimed the twins’ health had declined after receiving vaccinations, including the flu shot, hepatitis A, and DTaP.

Andrea mentioned during the podcast that her husband’s family had a history of adverse reactions to the flu vaccine. She expressed that the twins had seemed fine initially but later exhibited signs of illness, including unusual tiredness and even blue lips. “They were just… not themselves,” she recounted, visibly emotional.

According to her, Tyson appeared much worse than Dallas, noting his sunken eyes and fatigue. While Nathaniel claimed he was at work when the twins became ill, he described a situation where they had diarrhea but seemed to improve the day before their deaths.

Social media posts from the family depicted a wholesome lifestyle, but those accounts have since been removed. Recently, Andrea had given birth to another child, and her husband is currently taking care of the newborn.

Law enforcement apprehended Shaw in Boise, and she is now facing extradition to Payette. The investigation, involving multiple agencies, was described as “long and thorough,” yet the precise cause of the twins’ deaths remains undisclosed.

Shaw’s attorney, Joseph Filicetti, expressed shock over the charges and maintained that he believes the deaths were vaccine-related. “I’m not a medical expert, but the medical experts I consult suggest more investigation into the complications,” he stated. He mentioned the couple’s cooperation with law enforcement, highlighting that they had been in the area for a considerable time without attempting to flee.

Adding to the complexity of the situation, Filicetti noted that Andrea’s recent childbirth, now leaving her in jail, complicates matters further. “It’s a tough situation for everyone involved,” he concluded.
