As the United States nears its 250th birthday, Major League Baseball is marking the occasion by making television history with America’s favorite pastime.
It’s Star-Spangled Sunday, a special event where every team takes the field and all 15 games will be broadcast solely on NBC’s platforms.
The fourth game, kicking off shortly after 1:30 p.m. ET, features a pivotal match between the Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees. The Yankees secured a victory against the Twins 5-3, which helped them break a seven-game losing streak, although they faced a setback with an 11-4 loss earlier in the day on Independence Day.
