Sean Hannity announces move from New York to ‘free state of Florida’

Sean Hannity has officially moved to Florida.

The Fox News host first made the announcement on his radio show Tuesday, saying he is “currently broadcasting from his new home in the Free State of Florida.”

“I have been threatening to do this for quite some time if anyone listens to this show for too long, but we are now starting our first broadcast from my new home in the Free State of Florida. “I'm done. I'm done. New York, New York, goodbye. Florida, Florida, if I can get here, I can get anywhere. But I can't stay here. That's great,” Hannity said.

Mr. Hannity's move followed what many called the “blue state exodus,” in which thousands of Americans moved from blue states such as California and New York to red states such as Florida and Texas. Mr. Hannity also pointed to left-wing policies regarding migration from New York and bragged about Florida's Republican leaders like Gov. Ron DeSantis.

“And finally, for the first time I can think of in my adult life, I actually have a legislator in my state who shares my values. I have a governor named Ron DeSantis. and Sen. Marco Rubio.'' Sen. Rick Scott was there too, so that made me feel really good,'' Hannity said.

He added, “And I'm not going to explain the why or the how, because the reality is that this sudden migration from a state with high taxes, burdensome regulations, high crime, and terrible school districts… Because that's obvious. And if anything, maybe I'm late and behind the times, and a lot of other people are taking action in advance.”
