Police in Dallas, Texas, say they are searching for a 17-year-old man wanted for the weekend murder of a high school girl who allegedly gave birth just three weeks ago.
FOX 4 in Dallas reported that 17-year-old Ikea Imari Hood was shot and killed Sunday morning in the southeast neighborhood of Oak Cliff.
The station learned from a source close to the family that Ms. Hood gave birth three weeks ago.

The Dallas Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Grambling Drive around 10:40 a.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.
Investigators learned that Hood was shot by a suspect who fled the scene.

Responding paramedics treated Hood, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, police announced that after further investigation, 17-year-old Trevon Darnell Wright was identified as the suspect, adding that an arrest warrant had been issued for Wright on suspicion of murder.
