The Michigan Wolverines defeated the Washington Huskies to win the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Michigan won 10 games on Monday.th They defeated Washington 34-13 to win the school's most prestigious title.
The Wolverines enjoyed great success as the team finished the season with a perfect record of 15-0. It was also the only school to remain undefeated in the 2023 season.
“I couldn't be more proud or happier with our team's record of 15-0,” University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh said. “I've dealt with everyone who comes. I'm the last one standing. It feels great. Personally, I get to sit at the table of great people in my family. They no longer consider me there. It won't sit on a small table. My father, Jack Harbaugh, won a national championship (Western Kentucky) and my brother (John) won a Super Bowl. it's a good thing”
The title match was held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Reportedly, 72,808 fans attended.
Michigan held the lead throughout the game, and the team's running back, Blake Colm, earned Offensive MVP honors. Additionally, defensive back Will Johnson was named Defensive MVP.
The University of Michigan had an up-and-down season as head coach Jim Harbaugh was suspended twice in six regular-season games.
For the first time, he was suspended by the university for conducting on- and off-campus recruiting during the coronavirus pandemic.
