KC Forecasts Project Chiefs-Dolphins Could Be One of the Coldest NFL Games on Record

Many will not be able to watch the Chiefs take on the Dolphins in the NFL Wild Card Round on Saturday night as the league has chosen to feature this game exclusively on Peacock.

But if you can watch it, you'll see more than 70,000 fans and more than 100 players and coaches frozen in place.

According to Kansas City's Saturday 7:15 p.m. kickoff forecast, fans can expect temperatures to drop below freezing and the possibility of snow.

“There have only been four games in NFL history where the kickoff temperature was -13 degrees: the 1967 NFL Championship Ice Bowl in Green Bay -13 degrees and the 1982 AFC Championship Freezer Bowl in Cincinnati. -9 degrees, the 2016 wild card game at Minnesota. -6, 2008 NFC Championship at Green Bay -1”, Pro Football Talk report.
