Sen. Fetterman Blasts South Africa’s Hypocrisy on Israel and ‘Genocide’

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania) on Wednesday responded to South Africa's accusations of “genocide” against Israel, accusing the African nation of hypocrisy and saying, “Maybe we should just shut up and watch this!” did.

South Africa filed a lawsuit against Israel on Thursday at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands. Much of the discussion reflected Palestinian propaganda. Some of the discussions even misquoted the Bible to use against Israel.

Fetterman appears to be referring to South Africa's own questionable record on human rights issues.

After nearly half a century of apartheid, South Africa adopted a new constitution emphasizing human rights in 1996, but it has since reversed and imposed new forms of racial discrimination against the country's whites and other minority groups. is what happened.

As Breitbart News pointed out in 2018:

South African radical politician Julius Malema on Thursday acknowledged President Donald Trump's concerns and reiterated that the point of the country's new “expropriation without compensation” policy is to take land from white farmers. Ta.

Speaking at a press conference, Malema referred to the racist land policies of colonialism and apartheid, saying, “Through eminent domain, white people are forced to share land acquired through crimes against the humanity of black and African people.'' “There is,” he said.

While not a “white genocide” as some on the American right have claimed, the situation left many South Africans (both white and black) wondering if the ANC would soon emulate neighboring Zimbabwe, where farm seizures led to economic collapse. This is causing concern that this may not be the case.

South Africa was a pariah state during the apartheid era. However, rather than accepting the international norms of the post-apartheid era, the South African government has sided with the rogue regime.

He tried to protect Gaddafi's Libya and Saddam's Iraq. It protected Robert Muganu's tyrannical rule in Zimbabwe. Close to the Chinese Communist Party. and most recently defended Sudan and Russia from international criminal charges related to war crimes against civilians in Darfur and Ukraine, respectively.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pointed out South Africa's hypocrisy in a statement on Thursday (translated via the Government Press Office).

We are fighting terrorists and we are also fighting lies.

Today, we once again see a world turned upside down, where the State of Israel is accused of genocide even as it fights genocide.

Israel is fighting against violent terrorists who have committed horrific crimes against humanity. They massacred, raped, burned, dismembered, and beheaded children, women, the elderly, youth, and young women.

A terrorist organization has committed the worst crime against Jews since the Holocaust, and now there are those who defend it in the name of the Holocaust. What brazen courage! The world is upside down.

And the Israel Defense Forces, the most moral military in the world that does everything possible to avoid harm to non-combatants, is being accused of genocide by representatives of these monsters.

South African hypocrisy cries to the heavens.

Where was South Africa when millions of people were being killed and forced from their homes in Syria and Yemen? By Hamas partners. The world is upside down. Where were you?

we know where we are. We will continue to fight terrorists. We will continue to refute lies. We will continue to defend our legitimate right to protect ourselves and secure our future until complete victory.

Israel will have a chance to defend itself in The Hague on Friday.
