In a letter to Gov. Kemp and Georgia Attorney General Christopher Kerr, Greene wrote that Willis had to “husband her secret lover illegally” to work on the “unprecedented, complex and partisan” investigation into Trump and others. He urged an investigation into the suspicion that he was hired by the police.

Greene said Willis may have benefited financially from hiring his alleged lover as a special prosecutor, with them allegedly traveling together to destinations such as Napa Valley and the Caribbean. repeated the claim.
