Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) said Sunday on CNN's “State of the Union” that voters are worried about President Joe Biden because former President Donald Trump is “one of the most dangerous politicians in modern American history.” He said he would return.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “President Biden has received a lot of criticism from the left for his support of Israel in the midst of this war, but you are the leader of the progressive left and the movement that you sparked during your presidential campaign.'' He is the leader of the group,” he said. Do you think America's young progressives will ultimately rally behind Joe Biden in November, or has he seriously undermined his standing?”
“I think we'll see what happens in November because the choice is pretty clear. Running against Donald Trump, who I suspect is the Republican nominee, is the most dangerous candidate in modern American history,” Sanders said. So I think people will ultimately rally around Biden.
