Harrison Ford couldn't be more grateful to have had his wife, Calista Flockhart, by his side for the past 20 years.
During his acceptance speech for the Career Achievement Award at Sunday night's Critics Choice Awards, Ford visibly choked up as he talked about what she meant to him.
“I would like to thank my lovely wife, Calista Flockhart, for supporting me when I need so much support,” he told the audience. There were also tears in her eyes when her camera cut to Flockhart.
“And we need a lot of support,” he added with a smile.

Ford and Flockhart married in 2010 after eight years of dating.
The pair first met at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards, where Ford won the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Flockhart was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy for her role in the hit series “Ally McBeal.” .

She continued to work on series such as Brothers and Sisters and Supergirl, but also focused on raising her son, Liam, whom she adopted in 2001.

In a 2012 interview with the Guardian after Brothers & Sisters ended, Ms Flockhart revealed that her son and family were her top priority.

In a 2008 Reader's Digest interview, Ford praised his wife's parenting skills.
“She became a mother by choice. She adopted Liam as a single parent before we met. It's a huge responsibility,” he said. “She was devoted to Liam and did a really great job raising him, and I’m happy to be part of that work now.”

Ford officially adopted Liam after marrying Flockhart in 2010.
While Flockhart took long breaks between projects, Ford continued to work steadily throughout the 2000s and 2010s, including the films that made him famous, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; It also included “Star Wars: The Force Awakens'' and a return to the “Star Wars'' series. Ford won the surprise Palme d'Or at the world premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial at last summer's Cannes Film Festival.
During his acceptance speech, Ford was on the verge of tears, thanking not only his fans but also his wife.
According to Variety, Ford said, “I was very touched by this.
