This week, a pig was caught running amok while enjoying a snowy day in Kentucky.
Richmond police posted a photo of an adorable pig on Tuesday. The animal escaped from the trailer and was found by officers that morning.
“Officers responded to a loose pig this morning!” the police department wrote. “After escaping from the trailer, our fat friend spent some time enjoying the winter weather and the recent snowfall.”
The photo showed a nose covered in snow. A smiling police officer also gave a thumbs up gesture while posing with the pig.

After spending all morning in the snow, the pig was able to use a blanket and was brought back to its owner.

“The pig was then reunited with its owner and kindly agreed to take a photo with some of the police officers who helped get him home safely!” the Facebook post added.
Dozens of Richmond residents commented on the post, which received more than 1,000 likes on Facebook.

“It was great! Thank you for working hard in the freezing cold!” one local resident wrote.
Another Facebook user reflected: “I saw that this morning and had to do a double take.” “You never know what you're going to see.”
