“I turned off my phone for the night and when I woke up, the thread had been viewed over 50 million times and the news media was starting to cover the story.”

Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters, a high-profile synagogue in Brooklyn, is one of the holiest places of worship for followers of the Chabad-Lubavitch faith.

“When people started saying that known anti-Semites were retweeting my videos, I made the decision to delete the entire thread,” David said in a chat with Fox News Digital.
“I never intended for people who hate Jews to use my account to spread their hateful and disgusting venom.”
But by that point, David said, the dam had broken and hate continued to flood timelines and messages.

David said he created his account to “distribute funny and insightful videos mixed with lots of Jewish humor and wit.”
“I never got into this for the fame,” he said.
Before the 770 uprising, he had around 11,400 followers, and while that number has grown to nearly 17,000, none of his tweets have received more than 600,000 views. This is nothing compared to the roughly 50 million+ views his videos have received. 24hours.
