Quinn Hillyer, deputy commentary editor for the Washington Examiner and former editor-in-chief of the American Spectator, sent an email to the pro-Trump PAC at 10:14 p.m. with the subject line: It's time to unite around Trump to defeat Biden. “We receive tons of spam-like political emails every day that are generated by algorithms. When we receive them, we respond to what we think is an invisible algorithm generator. I thought it was a good way to vent some frustration,” Hillyer told the caller after being asked about the email.
