This week, the World Economic Forum held its annual summit in Davos, Switzerland. Naturally, one of the main topics of conversation revolved around “disinformation”, in other words, anything that goes against the policies of the elites.
It's no secret that many of the most prominent and powerful world leaders are hostile to free speech, but one person who is refreshingly supportive of free speech is Elon Musk. His efforts to protect this right are evident in his purchase and rewiring of his X, which under previous ownership was notorious for censoring content deemed objectionable.
But Musk's unabashed support for free speech has earned him a blacklist among other elites. Ravi Agrawal, editor-in-chief of Foreign Policy magazine and a Davos attendee, said so himself.
Dave Rubin plays a clip of Agrawal accidentally revealing why Elon Musk wasn't invited to this year's summit.
Conversations about “real information” and “disinformation” emphasize the importance of “.”[differentiating] Agrawal said, “Not all tech CEOs admit that they're bad at everything. They want to think they’re better too.”
“Obviously they're talking about Elon Musk, one of the people who started Twitter so more people could share ideas and debunk things in real time.” a man… [and] Blame our politicians and people like them***,” says Dave. “That’s the last thing they want, so we didn’t even invite them.”
