‘No Energy’ Trump Can Barely Read a Teleprompter

Gov. Chris Sununu (R-New Hampshire) said Monday on CNN's “The Read” that former President Donald Trump “has no energy” and “can barely read a teleprompter.”

Sununu said, “Anyone who says this is a must-win for Nikki Haley, I heard someone mention that they paid too much for a political science degree. Only three goals here. One was to come in second place. The second was to have only two candidates in the race. She swept out 12 candidates. And she ran from Iowa. We want to build on that. She had 20%. She'll have more than double that here. The last point is that it's a poll. The end. I was always wrong when I checked. You never know. The same poll on the day I won said I would lose by 11 points, but we were only a few percentage points away. We won by a margin.”

He continued, “So it's all about turnout. It's the enthusiasm that matters, where is that energy? Not just what people said on the phone and what you know, but online text messages, etc. Please reply. It's really about the energy of that campaign. Trump has no energy. He can barely read a teleprompter right now. The wind is all behind Nikki's sails. So I , I believe the sky is the limit.”

Sununu added, “Nikki Haley doesn't want establishment support. She doesn't want any of those things. She really doesn't. Look, Trump has gone from being a subversive to this establishment side. He's become a man. He's never held the Senate accountable. Nikki Haley wants term limits. She says no one should get paid unless they actually do the work. say.”
