Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis withdrew from the race for the Republican presidential nomination and endorsed Trump on Sunday after finishing second in last week's Iowa caucuses. But former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who finished third in Iowa, remained in the race and lost Tuesday's New Hampshire Republican presidential primary to former President Donald Trump.
Haley received an endorsement from Granite Governor Chris Sununu ahead of the contest. South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott, whom Haley appointed to the Senate more than a decade ago when she was governor, recently endorsed Trump.
