A fifth friend who was at the Kansas City Chiefs watch party that preceded the three men's mysterious deaths has provided a new account of the men's final hours.
The bodies of Ricky Johnson, 38, Clayton McGeeney, 36, and David Harrington, 37, were discovered by a man's fiancée who told Kansas City police that his partner had not contacted him for two days. It was discovered on January 9th after he said there was no such thing. Two of the men were found dead in the snow outside Jordan Willis' rental home, and the other was found dead in the man's backyard.
Kansas City police told Fox News Digital they are awaiting the results of the man's post-mortem toxicology report.
A fifth man, whose name has not been released, who was in the house on January 7th, said: FOX4 Kansas City Willis and the three others were still awake when he left his home on Northwest 83rd Terrace that night. He stressed that he was not the last person to see the men alive.

His lawyer, Andrew Talzi, told the outlet that his client arrived at the residence to watch a game between the Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers around 7 p.m. and left around midnight.
Tarzi said the other four were awake and watching Jeopardy when his client left.
Attorney John Picerno, who represents Willis, told FOX News Digital on Wednesday that the fifth man left his client's home first, then said goodbye to the other three and went to sleep on the couch. Ta.
In an earlier interview with FOX4, Picerno said Willis fell asleep while the four men were still awake and hanging out in the house.
Ross Nigro, an attorney representing Mr. Johnson's family, said the news that there was a fifth person in the home was another example of a contradiction.

“At first he was alone, and now there was a fifth magical person coming to the house,” Nigro said. “The fact that the story has changed so much makes it seem unbelievable and completely unreliable. All of this, along with the fact that Mr. Willis has left the mansion and hired a criminal defense attorney, makes it seem unbelievable and completely unreliable. It’s a sign that you’re hiding something.”
Nigro said a survivor at the rally recalled that Willis' two dogs were present at the vigil party that preceded the man's death, adding, “If there were three people who died in the United States, the dog would alert us,” he is claimed to have said. On the corpse. ”
It is unclear whether that group is the fifth person mentioned in the new report.

But Picerno claims the animals were boarded up at his client's father's home during the meeting.
After the men left, Picerno said Willis slept “a lot of the time” over the next 48 hours. Meanwhile, friends and family of McGeeney, Johnson and Harrington have called, emailed, texted and messaged him on Facebook when they can't reach his loved ones. He said he did.
At least two people involved said they knocked on Willis' door before police responded to his home at about 8:51 p.m. on Jan. 9, but Willis did not answer.

Picerno denied these claims in an interview with Fox News Digital on Tuesday.
“What struck me as strange was that no one called his cell phone,” he said. “One of them, I believe it was his fiancée, sent him a message on Facebook Messenger. But he didn't get it until the police got it.”
Willis' fiancée allegedly went to the back of the house when calls and knocks went unanswered, found one of the three bodies on Willis' back porch and called police. FOX4 reported that she yelled for Willis inside her home.
“What I found strange about that was that none of those people called his cell phone.”
The victim's family said Willis met police at the front door wearing boxer shorts and holding an empty wine glass. Picerno told Fox News Digital that it contained water and was refilled after drinking wine the night before.
Picerno said his client was sleeping with noise-cancelling headphones and a loud fan on, so he didn't hear any knocks on the door until police arrived. Picerno said Willis didn't listen when the worried woman broke into her home.
Kansas City police stressed that Willis is not suspected of any wrongdoing and no criminal charges have been filed against him.

“First and foremost, this case is 100% not being investigated as a homicide,” Kansas City Police Department Lt. Jake Becchina previously told FOX News Digital. “No arrests have been made. [or] Charges have been filed and no one is in custody. There is no particular threat or concern to the surrounding community at this time. The occupants of the home were cooperative with detectives the day the body was discovered. ”
But Johnson's family has hired a lawyer to force a more thorough investigation into their son's death.
Picerno said his client allowed police to search his home without a warrant or an attorney present. Nigro, an attorney representing Johnson's family, said police conducted a second, more thorough investigation two days later.
Johnson, a father of three, did not report to work at his father's construction company that Monday. At the time, Ricky Johnson Sr. told Fox News Digital that his family was looking for the address where his son was watching the game.

Johnson's father said police were already there when Johnson and his family pulled up to Willis' home on Jan. 9.
“They told us to wait four hours and let us know what they found,” Johnson Sr. said Tuesday. “We waited all night and they never called. I called them the next day and they still wouldn't give me any information. So I called my lawyer. did.”
Since then, Johnson's mother, Norma Chester, told FOX News Digital that detectives have only contacted her twice, once to ask if she knew the password to her son's cell phone. said.
“How do you get into the backyard and all three of you freeze to death?”
Chester and Johnson Sr. question police claims that Willis was not involved in their son's death.
“He may have done drugs and stuff in the past, but I don't think all three of them did drugs and collapsed and died in the backyard,” Johnson Sr. said of his son. “I'm not saying he didn't have a drink during the game. But he wasn't irresponsible to go out and freeze to death.”
“I'm talking about three grown men. If it had been freezing outside like they say, they could have kicked in the window and gotten into the house,” the father continued.

Johnson Sr. also said his son's coat was found inside Willis' home and that the 38-year-old construction worker “would never leave the house without his coat.”
The father told Fox News Digital that he believed Willis “drugged the kids, dragged them outside and waited two days before calling the police.”
“Seriously, these were responsible men. Why would they go into the backyard and all three of them freeze to death?” Johnson's mother told Fox News Digital.
“He's a scientist, but is he somehow responsible? That's an opinion that's not based on facts.”
Picerno said Willis moved out of his rental home “out of fear of retaliation” after all the media attention surrounding his friend's death. He also took time off from his job as a data scientist at IAVI, a nonprofit that develops vaccines for infectious diseases.
Chester said her mother's intuition told her the men had been poisoned.
“It occurs to me that this guy likes to brag about how smart he is and how he's a scientist. In my opinion, he made something up and gave it to all three people. I know I'm just thinking, but how could something like this happen? ”

Picerno said the accusations of drug use and addiction are “ridiculous.”
“Is he somehow responsible because he's a scientist? That's an opinion that's not based on fact,” the lawyer said.
“There are no allegations of animosity between Jordan and his three friends,” Picerno told Fox News Digital on Tuesday. “People like to speculate, but [but] No one called the police and said, “I'm scared of this Jordan guy.'' ”

Picerno said two of the three had been friends with Willis since high school, and the third had been his best friend for about four years.

“They went to a Chiefs game together, and Jordan bought four tickets to the Chiefs game the following Sunday so they could go together,” Picerno said. “I understand that people are hurting, but that's no excuse to throw unfounded accusations at Jordan.”
“The main thing people should remember from our perspective is that these were his three buddies. If they were in danger, he would have helped them.” Picerno said. “If he had known they were there, he would have called the police himself. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.”
