Texas YouTuber Rendon Dietzmann, who filmed himself speeding over 150 mph on highway, wanted by police

Authorities in Colorado are searching for a YouTuber who allegedly filmed himself riding a motorcycle at such high speeds that he traveled between two major cities in 20 minutes instead of the usual hour.

Rendon Dietzman, 32, of Texas, was killed on Sept. 28 while traveling on Interstate 25 from Colorado Springs to the Denver metropolitan area, according to a Colorado State Patrol news release obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday. It was recorded on the day.

The video, which is no longer available on YouTube, but shared by the department, shows Dietzmann slipping through small gaps between cars and driving at more than 150 mph on the shoulder of the highway.

“This is an extreme example, but sadly a real one,” said State Patrol Sgt. Troy Kessler told The Associated Press. “If you drive like this, you can expect to be arrested as soon as you are spotted. This is the best outcome for people who drive sensibly.”

Dietzmann is known as Gixxer Brah on YouTube. His page description says he “likes to do wheelies and likes to run fast.” He has over 250,000 subscribers on this account, and his page has nearly 500 videos posted, with his most recent upload being two days ago. YouTube told Fox News Digital that it has removed content from the channel in the past, and its policy prohibits “harmful or dangerous conduct,” meaning conduct that “involves a substantial risk of serious bodily harm or death.” He added that he is doing so.

The Texan is wanted on charges of menacing, participating in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, exceeding 40 mph, exhibiting speed and driving without a license plate.

The Colorado State Patrol worked with Dallas, Texas, police and the El Paso County, Colorado, District Attorney's Office to identify the driver as Dietzman, whose hometown has not been released.

Investigators say numerous motorists and online viewers contacted the Colorado State Patrol about the incident.
