Gov. Chris Sununu (RN.H.) said former President Trump is “nervous” because “money is coming in” for Republican presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley, who Sununu is supporting. Ta.
Haley “has wind and momentum,” Sununu said in a recent interview with Wolf Blitzer. He also noted the former president's recent threats regarding donations to Haley.
“Nikki Haley has money coming in, so he's nervous,” Sununu said. “She has momentum in her home state.”
Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Wednesday that anyone who contributed to Haley would be “permanently banned from the MAGA camp.”
“Anyone who 'contributes' to Birdbrain will now be permanently banned from the MAGA camp,” he wrote, using the nickname Haley. “We don’t want them, we won’t have them, and we never will, because we put America first!”
Haley and her campaign responded to the former president's threats by raising money.
“Enough…bring your shirt here!” Haley tweeted Thursday in a post on '', he said, linking to a site where you can get a T-shirt that says, Permanently. ”
Haley's campaign confirmed to The Hill on Thursday that it has raised $1 million since Trump's threat.
In response to Trump's warning, former Trump staff members donated to the former United Nations ambassador's campaign.
“It's over,” Sarah Matthews, who left the Trump administration after the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, wrote on X, posting a link to donate to Haley's campaign. “Donate to @NikkiHaley here.”
Despite defeating Haley by 11 points in the New Hampshire primary earlier this week, Trump still attacked Haley in his victory speech, according to Decision Desk Headquarters.
“I have to say, it was very funny. I said, 'What a win,' and at seven o'clock someone came running up to the stage all dressed up, and now they just walked up. . It was 2 p.m.,” President Trump said Tuesday night.
“Let's not give someone a win when she had a really bad night,” Trump said. “She had a very bad night.”
