The girlfriend of one of three Kansas City Chiefs fans was found dead after a game-day watch party, and the girlfriend said he was not a drug abuser and that she believed he was “murdered.” He revealed that he believes that.
Laurie Kruse’s boyfriend, David Harrington, 37, arrested Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney outside Jordan Willis’ rental home in Kansas City on January 9. (36 years old) and was found frozen to death.
Police say the incident is not being investigated as a homicide and no criminal activity is suspected, but Kruse is adamant that Harrington, her boyfriend of 17 years, was killed.

Willis’ lawyer previously said his client had been “sleeping on the couch” near a loud fan for nearly two days with noise-cancelling headphones on, but didn’t know he had died until after a welfare check at his home. He said there was no.
Kruse said he believes Harrington must have been “caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time,” but acknowledged he doesn’t know “what’s going to happen” as the investigation into the tragedy continues.
“I don’t know if Jordan gave them what they’re talking about,” she told Cuomo. “David was not the drug addict that people think he was.”
She also said she never heard Harrington discuss Willis in detail, even though the party was described as a gathering of friends.
“I’ve heard about Jordan before. I’ve never met him. I’ve heard a lot of terrible things about him,” she revealed.
“I don’t know the truth…David has never talked about Jordan. I’ve only heard the name Jordan when he was talking to friends…I’ve never heard any stories about Jordan. I think so.”
She told Cuomo that Willis was “addicted to drugs,” but did not elaborate on what that meant.
There has been speculation that the three friends’ deaths were drug-related, but “David did nothing like that,” Kruse said. “…Maybe he was drinking and ingested something. But I know David wouldn’t have accepted that.
“We just talked to our kids about not doing drugs and how fentanyl is always in the news,” she added.
Harrington would have “walked” the mile home “if it had been cold,” or been big enough to “crash through a window,” or he would have gone to his car to warm up.
“He was a good guy. A very nice guy,” she told NewsNation. “He went to church with us. He coached my son’s baseball team.”
Willis’ father, Rodney Willis, said his son “wouldn’t do anything in a million years” and insisted his family was grieving along with the victims’ loved ones.
“These are all good friends of his, guys he went to school with, and he took them to the Chiefs football game the day before,” he told the Post on Thursday. Ta.
The family is waiting for the toxicology report, but “it doesn’t matter what the autopsy results are,” Kruse told Cuomo.
“That’s what people here are forgetting. We have three men, six children, and they don’t have a father. We have families, we have friends, we have friends. , everyone is hurting.”
The heartbroken mother said she told her children about Harrington’s death, which they saw on TikTok. She also claimed that people are making fun of Torio’s death because they “don’t know” about him.
“I can’t rest because my phone is blowing up because I’m like, ‘Did you hear this?’ and ‘Did you hear that about social media with lots of links?’ And that’s not true, they’re not true, and That’s disrespectful. It hurts. That’s not who David was. David didn’t do anything like that,” Kruse told Cuomo.
“I really couldn’t believe that everything they were saying was true, because it’s not true and it’s not the person I know. That’s the person my kids know. No. That’s not true.”

Harrington, Johnson and McGeeney were found in Willis’ home two days after the Jan. 7 Chiefs game, after McGeeney’s fiancée claimed a welfare check.
