Last year, Rob Gronkowski missed a 25-yard field goal “Kick of Fate” that was broadcast live during the Super Bowl.
FanDuel promised that if you bet $5 that Gronk makes a field goal, they would split $10,000,000 in bonus bets with all other users who opted into the promotion.
FanDuel ended up paying bonus bets last year, and many users won $5 or $10 on bonus bets even though Gronk missed.
This year, FanDuel is doing it again, but it works a little differently. And they continue to offer all new customers $200 in bonus bets when signing up for a new account.

- Choose whether Gronk makes or misses the kick. No need to bet $5 this year.
- Choose the correct side and you’ll win a share of $10,000,000. It will probably end up being between $5 and $10. This year it will probably be less because you won’t have to bet any cash.

After the 49ers’ win over the Lions on Sunday, Gronkowski said he practices this kick three times a week and has made about 90 percent of his kicks.
The 2024 Super Bowl will be broadcast by CBS, rather than Fox, where Gronk is an analyst.
This year’s commercial will air before the game instead of late like last year, and he will be taking a kick on a field somewhere outside Las Vegas.
He blamed the wind for last year’s failure.
