LIV Golf announced Jon Rahm’s team on Tuesday as the 2024 season begins this Friday in Mayakoba, Mexico.
Aptly named Legion XIII, Rahm’s team is its first. expansion team Inside the Saudi-supported golf circuit.
Legion XIII consists of Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton and Caleb Surratt of the University of Tennessee, and Kieran Vincent of Zimbabwe.
Many people love this name because of its historical element. Legion XIII originates from Legio XIII Gemina, his one of Julius Caesar’s most important troops in the ancient Roman civil wars.
Therefore, the team will use the slogan “play together.” According to the first announcement, together we will conquer.
The 13th team is nurtured by passion, energized by power and proud.
There’s a lot of backstory behind this name and its origins, but fans have mixed feelings about the name and brand.
