Former US President Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his commitment to implementing the Abraham Accords Treaty in the Middle East.
The move was announced by Claudia Tenney (RN.Y.) on Tuesday, marking a historic move to establish peace and normal diplomatic relations between Israel and two Arab countries, namely the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. We are about to record the agreement of September 15, 2020.
In the weeks that followed, other Arab and Muslim countries joined the agreement, including Sudan, Morocco, and Kosovo.
“Donald Trump was instrumental in promoting the first new peace deal in the Middle East in nearly 30 years,” Tenney said. Said FOX News Digital said in a statement.

“For decades, bureaucrats, foreign policy experts, and international organizations have argued that no additional Middle East peace deal was possible without a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. President Trump says that’s wrong. I proved that.”
The Nobel Peace Prize previously honored the 1978 peace agreement between Israel and Egypt and the 1994 Oslo Accords.
However, Tenney said Trump’s role in brokering an agreement to normalize diplomatic and economic relations between Israel and four neighboring Arab states has not been recognized.
Former President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation among our peoples,” but Obama supporters have always looked down on President Trump. .

President Trump told Breitbart News three weeks ago that several other countries were trying to join, potentially including Iran, but President Joe Biden took office and the plan failed. He said the reversion to the previous approach to the Middle East has frustrated that effort and undermined any progress made.
During President Biden’s term, not a single country joined the Abraham Accords, and the current administration has chosen to ignore President Trump’s contributions to peace and security in the Middle East.

Heads of state and politicians can nominate individuals, as well as foreign policy institutions and past Nobel laureates, for the award.
The five-member Nobel Committee, appointed by the Norwegian Parliament, selects the laureate from among the submitted nominations.
Trump, the current front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, has been nominated before.
