Biden makes appeal for peace at National Prayer Breakfast

President Biden on Thursday appealed for peace amid wars in Gaza and Ukraine.

“We don’t just pray for peace, we actively work for the peace, security and dignity of the people of Israel and the people of Palestine,” Biden said at the annual National Prayer Breakfast on Capitol Hill. Stated.

“Just as we have worked for the peace, security, and dignity of the Ukrainian people, we will bring home hostages in the conflict, alleviate the humanitarian crisis, and bring lasting peace to Gaza and Israel,” the president said.
