Florida Sending ‘More Support’ to Texas to Secure Southern Border

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said Thursday that Florida is sending “further assistance” to help Texas secure its southern border.

“Florida has been assisting at our southern border since 2021 and is sending more support from both the @FLStateGuard and up to one battalion of @FLGuard,” DeSantis announced.

More specifically, the governor added, “Their mission is to help the state of Texas erect barriers on its border to deter illegal aliens from entering.”

DeSantis’ announcement was made by Texas Governor Greg Abbott (Republican). To clarify He said the Lone Star State is “prepared” to continue building barriers at the border even if President Joe Biden federalizes the Texas National Guard.

“Well, first of all, you’re shocked. That would be a gut-wrenching move on his part. It was an utter disaster,” Mr. Abbott told Tucker Carlson.

“First of all, as you can imagine, we are preparing ourselves in case the worst happens to ensure that we can continue to do what we have been doing for the past month, so we are not putting any barriers in place. ” explained Mr. Abbott.

he added:

Whatever we’ve been building, whether it’s concertina wire or other no-go border barriers, the Biden administration is now going to attack us for it, so we have to refuse. We’re going to continue to do the exact same things we’re doing to expand. Charged with illegal entry into Texas.

Abbott also said secure borders are America’s biggest problem.

“if joe biden Federalizing the National Guard would be the biggest political blunder, and that’s why I don’t think he would do it.” Said Sean Hannity of Fox News.

As detailed by Breitbart News, the emergency comes after a controversial U.S. Supreme Court ruling that said “Border Patrol agents can cut the razor-edge border barrier along the Rio Grande.” It is what I received.
