Former President Donald Trump is raising money after President Biden reportedly used a four-letter word to express dissatisfaction with his likely opponent in the general election.
“Biden called me a disgusting word!” read an email sent by the Trump campaign on Friday asking supporters to “cooperate.”
“[Y]I know he doesn’t just think about me, but about all of my proud supporters,” the 77-year-old former president asserted in the message.
The solicitation came a day after reports that Mr. Biden, 81, called Mr. Trump a “sick son of a bitch” in a conversation with aides and longtime friends.
“This guy is such a bad guy,” Biden also recently said of the former president. According to Politico.
A Trump campaign spokesperson said it was “unfortunate” but “not surprising” that Biden would use profanity when talking about the former president.
In a speech at a fundraiser, Trump reminded his supporters that “Hillary Clinton is calling us deplorables,” adding, “Biden is spitting on us and calling us every name in the dictionary. I would say,” he claimed.
“If you support me now, we’ll be the ones laughing on election day,” he added.
The email, signed by President Trump, instructs supporters to click a big red button that says “We love President Trump” to contribute to the campaign.
Mr. Trump has previously announced his criminal charges, his mugshot in Georgia, and remove him from state primary election ballots.
More than $50 million in funds from pro-Trump political action committees went to pay for the 45th president’s mounting legal costs over the past year, campaign reports this week revealed. Ta.
