Church service complains about ‘sexual noises’ nearby as prostitution in San Diego lingers

“Sexual noises” reportedly emanated from a San Diego massage parlor, disrupting church services and ultimately prompting authorities to launch a sting operation.

Authorities received information from several nearby businesses that the massage parlor was being disruptive. The report said complaints included a church complaining of “sexual noises” and other local residents who claimed they were seen having sex in the car.

San Diego Police say, “Nearby businesses have reported that this location receives foot traffic at odd hours, people having sex in parked cars, and sexual noises loud enough to disrupt services at a nearby church.” They complained that this was occurring.”

“After receiving numerous complaints from the community regarding illegal sexual activity at Ocean Spa, including criminal, nuisance, and lewd conduct, the SDPD Vice Unit began an extensive and thorough investigation into these complaints.” the police added.

Authorities reportedly spent 125 hours investigating the massage parlor last year. According to Fox News Digital, there were at least four instances in which undercover police officers were approached for sex by employees.

Authorities also found more than 1,270 online advertisements for sex in parlors over the past five years.

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of prostitution at the store, and the city is currently seeking legal action to shut it down. In addition, the City Attorney’s Office is seeking more than $100,000 in civil penalties, attorney fees and other law enforcement costs.
