Taylor Swift’s Grammy plans: no Travis Kelce, no performance

Taylor Swift is flying solo and will not perform at tonight’s Grammy Awards.

Multiple news outlets reported that the six-time nominee would not appear due to Elas’ touring schedule.

According to Billboard, Swift will fly overseas immediately after the Grammy Awards to begin the Japan leg of her tour, which begins on Wednesday, February 7th and ends on the 10th.

Representatives for Swift did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment for this story.

Swift won Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and a remix of “Karma” with Ice Spice. They have been nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The “Antihero” singer will go down in history as the first artist to win Album of the Year four times for “Midnight.”

Swift will also be flying solo at the ceremony, without Travis Kelce on her arm.

Kelsey admitted on ESPN Radio’s “The Pat McAfee Show” that she couldn’t attend, saying, “I wish I could have been there to support Taylor at the Grammys and see her win all the awards she was nominated for. But I think I was able to practice.” I think Sunday or Sunday is a travel day,” Kelce said. “We have to get ready for the big Super Bowl in a week.”

Fox News Digital learned last week that Swift was scheduled to travel to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl following her February 10 performance in Japan.

To see Kelce play, he would have to take an 11-hour flight from Tokyo to Las Vegas. Due to her 14 hour time difference, she is likely to arrive in Sin City by her Saturday evening, February 10th.

But the “Lover” singer won’t be attending the Grammys alone.

Fans also suggested that Swift may be planning a big announcement that night after she changed her social media profile picture from a color photo of “Midnights” to a black-and-white version.

This change led to speculation that she would announce a release date for a re-recorded version of Reputation, one of the last two albums left on the re-recording schedule.
