A “Reclaim Our Borders” rally was underway in Quemado, Texas, but little impact was felt in the downtown core. The day ended as peacefully as it began, with officers holding their posts as the sun set over the small border community. The rally drew several hundred people to a small ranch to listen to moving speeches and Christian music. Organizers of the rally told Breitbart, Texas, that the activity is being done to show support in a way that does not disrupt the efforts of federal and state law enforcement, and is therefore peaceful and outside the city limits. He said it would be.
As the rally ended late Saturday afternoon and the visitors began to leave, normal calm returned to the small border community of Quemado, Texas. Sunday’s event at the park will once again prepare local police for increased traffic in the Eagle Pass downtown area. The ministry will once again be out in force, regulating traffic and minimizing disruption to city residents.
