As Breitbart News’ Neil Munro reported, the bill was put together behind closed doors by a close circle of establishment supporters and their corporate donors.
They include Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who are working to negotiate a plan with the White House. appointed three senators. The three senators are Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (Iowa-Ariz.).
The White House was advised by Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden’s pro-immigration border director.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) has already indicated that the Senate bill will die as soon as it reaches the House.
