Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer and one royal watcher says his health bombshell has left the public with more questions than answers.
Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that the 75-year-old has been diagnosed with a type of cancer and has begun treatment. The palace did not say what type of cancer the British monarch had, but noted it was unrelated to recent treatment for benign prostate disease.
“Once again, the construction of the palace is not fully underway, which is unfortunate, since the final outcome is often wild speculation,” says author Christopher Andersen. “King,” he told FOX News Digital.

“Forget throwing information out there, let’s just rip off the Band-Aid and be done with it,” he said. “If anyone is a public figure, it’s the King of England. As the saying goes, the people have a right to know.”
The palace said Prince Charles spent three nights in a London hospital last month receiving treatment for an enlarged prostate, during which “other concerns were raised”.
“Diagnostic tests have identified a type of cancer,” the palace said in a statement.

The news comes after daughter-in-law Princess Kate Middleton is recovering from scheduled abdominal surgery for an undisclosed condition. The King and Princess of Wales were both treated at the same hospital.
The mother of three had been attending a clinic in London for two weeks. The 42-year-old was not seen leaving her hospital, although the palace announced that she had returned to her home for her recuperation. Details of her departure were not disclosed. Prince Charles was photographed walking outside a clinic with his wife Queen Camilla after being discharged from surgery.
The Princess of Wales is expected to resume royal duties after Easter in late March.
“We’re already wondering what Duchess Kate’s medical problem is – it seems serious – so why complicate the royal mystery?” Andersen said.

“We do know that Charles is not suffering from prostate cancer, but rather from some form of cancer that was recently discovered during treatment for an enlarged prostate,” he said. “What type of cancer is the King dealing with? What exactly is the treatment plan? How advanced is the cancer? What is the prognosis? Charles III is not only the head of state of the United Kingdom, but also the head of state of the Commonwealth of Nations, which is effectively one-third of the world’s population.”
“There’s a huge element of irony here,” Andersen continued. “After waiting a lifetime to succeed his mother, the monarch, Charles was stricken with cancer just 10 months after his coronation. Again, we never knew how serious the situation was. No. But we need to know.”
The palace said the king was undergoing regular medical treatment and doctors advised him to postpone official duties.

“During this period, His Majesty will continue to carry out his state affairs and official affairs as usual,” the statement said. “The King is grateful to the medical team for the quick intervention made possible thanks to recent hospital procedures. The King remains fully positive about treatment and hopes to return to full official duties as soon as possible. I’m looking forward to it.”
“His Majesty has chosen to make his diagnosis public in order to avoid speculation and in the hope that it will help the public understand the lives of people around the world who suffer from cancer,” the statement added.
British and international media have focused on the health of Britain’s senior royals in recent years. First, the late Queen disappeared from public life during the final months of her 70-year reign, and then when Prince Charles became the oldest person on the throne. His contemporaries had long since retired.

He has always been very curious and has used the information he discovers to improve himself and those around him. He has This shows you what a true monster you are.” You can get cancer. ”
