speak at your mother On Thursday’s podcast, Lisa McCaffrey said the alarm went off specifically to embarrass the team.
“It’s 100% because there was no emergency.” She claimed the alarm was an “inside job.”
The player’s mother said it felt like the alarm had been going off for “25 minutes,” but added that she didn’t think a Kansas City Chiefs fan was the culprit. Instead, she feels she should have been an actual employee of the Chiefs. Because the hotel was on deep lockdown for the Super Bowl and mere fans were not allowed into the location.
49er head coach Kyle Shanahan dismissed the incident and said it had no effect on the team or coaches.
“None of the coaches came because we were already up,” Shanahan explained. “We’re in the basement, so we couldn’t really hear it. But when we met the players at 7 o’clock and asked them how their night was, they all complained about the fire alarm, and everyone I was complaining about everything like having to go outside.
“I didn’t realize how big of a deal it was until I met them and they showed me the video. So I think it was painful for them. Nobody wakes up at 6 o’clock and they don’t have meetings until 8 o’clock. We don’t want to have to go out, but that’s the reality,” he added.

Christian McCaffrey agreed with his mother that something sinister was afoot.
“I don’t think it can be random,” McCaffrey said, according to ESPN. “That’s part of it. It’s just throwing more wood on the fire.”
