The conservative CEO says Republican beer drinkers are looking for drinks that “truly support their values” after former President Donald Trump defended rival brand Bud Light.
In 2023, Bud Light launched a controversial partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, sparking an immediate months-long boycott from the beer-loving community.
But President Trump allayed the beer brand’s problems earlier this week, saying Bud Light’s parent company Anheuser-Busch is “not a woke company” and that the brand “probably deserves a second chance.” I tried.
The former president wrote that partnering with Mulvaney was a “grave mistake” but that conservatives should reconsider their boycott of the Anheuser-Busch brand.
“Anheuser-Busch is not a wake company, even though it has cost us dearly, but we can tell you a lot about how we are a wake company,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Isn’t Anheuser-Busch a great American brand that deserves a second chance?”
Seth Weathers, the ultra-right-wing CEO who launched the hugely successful Conservative Papa’s Ultralight beer as a rival to the Anheuser-Busch brand in the aftermath of the boycott, has been criticized for his social media presence on President Trump’s social media. remains optimistic about its brand despite the post.
“Conservatives want options from companies that truly support their values,” Weathers told FOX Business.
“Conservative Dad’s Ultra Light Beer proudly remains that choice!”
The far right has openly supported Trump throughout the election campaign, releasing limited edition beer cans featuring the former president’s mugshot and giving 10 percent of sales “to protect Georgia’s Trump electors” to the Georgia Republican Party and David・Donating to the Shafer Legal Defense Fund. This is an unfair political prosecution. ”
Ultralight also collaborated with women’s sports activist Riley Gaines, raising thousands of dollars for her center to protect women’s sports.
The campaign includes the sale of the “Real Women of America” 2024 calendar, an initiative the group previously told FOX Business will “offer an exclusive look at America’s most beautiful conservative women.” He said it was the first calendar created for.
Last summer, FOX Business obtained a press release revealing that Ultra Right had signed new distribution deals in multiple states to appear in thousands of retail stores, bars and restaurants.

“First, they ridiculed us. They said we’d never sell beer, we’d never make beer, we’d never hire distributors, and we’d never get shelf space in stores. ,” Weathers said at the time.
“We are proud to have achieved all of this in a matter of months.”
FOX Business’ Kye Morris contributed to this report.
