Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello finalized their divorce seven months after first filing.
According to documents obtained by People magazine on Friday, the 51-year-old actress and 47-year-old actor are proceeding with their divorce as an “uncontested case,” meaning both parties have signed an agreement.
The newspaper said Vergara and Manganiello do not have any children, but “have entered into written property and marital agreements that are either current or on file with the court.”

Manganiello asked for spousal support to be terminated for both parties, according to the documents. Additionally, the filing states that their attorneys’ fees “should be ordered as set forth in the proposed judgment.”

Representatives for Vergara and Manganiello did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.
In July, Vergara and Manganiello announced they were divorcing after seven years of marriage.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” they wrote in a joint statement to Page Six at the time. “As two people who love and care for each other, we respectfully ask that you respect our privacy as we enter this new phase in our lives.”

The former couple met at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2014, which Vergara attended with her then-fiancé Nick Loeb. Manganiello and Vergara began dating after her engagement to Loeb ended and married in November 2015.

In a recent interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais, Vergara said that her breakup with Manganiello was due to a disagreement over their desire to have children.

“I just divorced my second husband. [actor Joe Manganiello], someone I’ve been with for 10 years. My marriage fell apart because her husband was young,” the “Griselda” star told the outlet.
“He wanted a child, but I didn’t want to be an old mother. I think that’s unfair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but it’s not for me anymore.”

In an interview with the Daily Mail last week, Vergara elaborated further. About the situation That led to their separation.
“Joe is four years younger than me and has never had children,” said Vergara, who is the mother of son Manolo, 32, with ex-husband Joe Gonzalez.
“He decided he wanted kids, and I thought, ‘I don’t want kids.’Imagine, by the time this kid turns 10, I’ll be in my 60s. It was like, ‘That’s it.’

Vergara insisted there was “no animosity” between her and Manganiello, explaining that they simply had different family goals.
“I know how much sacrifice you have to make to be a good mother,” she said. “I have to exist. And my career is important to me. I can’t disappear. A lot of people are counting on me.”
Vergara told the Daily Mail that although she doesn’t want to be a mother again, she is looking forward to becoming a grandmother.

“I’m 51 and my son is 32,” she said. “I’m ready to play with my grandkids, and when I’m done playing, I’m like, ‘Okay, take it. It’s yours!'”
Vergara and Manganiello appear to be moving away from their marriage. In recent months, Vergara has been spotted dating Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon Justin Saliman.
