The UN’s “special rapporteur” on Palestinian human rights on Saturday justified the October 7 terrorist attack as a response to Israeli repression.
Francesca Albanese took issue with French President Emmanuel Macron’s expression of sympathy for the victims in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. She writes (translated from French by Google): “‘The biggest anti-Semitic massacre of the century’? No, @EmmanuelMacron. The victims of July 10th were not killed because of their Judaism, but in response to Israeli oppression. France and the international community We did nothing to stop it. We honor the victims.”
