Former President Donald Trump released a Super Bowl ad in a South Carolina market on Sunday that spoofs former Gov. Nikki Haley.
The ad contrasts Trump and Haley’s position on Social Security with Haley’s attempt to rewrite her position on raising the retirement age.
President Trump has said he has no intention of touching Social Security. “Under no circumstances should Republicans vote to cut Medicare or Social Security by a penny,” he said in January 2023.

“The fact that Donald Trump says I want to cut Social Security or raise the age. I never said that,” Haley claims in the video.
“Red challenge hat,” the football announcer said, and a red “Make America Great Again” hat was tossed onto the field.
“We are considering Mr. Trump’s challenge to Ms. Haley’s statement that she did not seek a relaxation of the Social Security age,” the chief judge said.

The ad then shows Hailey’s contradictory statements in the interview.
“Social Security, Medicare, how do you manage that right?” the anchor asked Haley in the clip.
“They say the rules have changed,” Haley replies. “What we know is 65 is too low. We need to increase it,” Haley reiterates in the video.
“Let’s look at it from a different angle,” says the announcer.
“We are changing retirement ages to reflect life expectancy,” Haley said in another video.
“I think the calls are pretty clear,” the announcer says. “But let’s go out there and see what the official Gene Tunney has to say.”
“After consideration, Nikki Haley has clearly stated that she intends to change the rules and raise the Social Security age. This will result in a reduction in benefits for 82 percent of Americans,” the referee said. ruled.
